R.I.P. Rob Hall, Terminator Make-Up Artist!

I’ll never forget my experience when I was on the set of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and the lead make-up artist, Rob Hall, turned me into a Terminator for the day! Roughly 12 reporters were on the set but only two were picked to have Terminator make-up applied to our faces. I was so honored to be an official Terminator that I actually kept it on almost all day until I had to take a flight back home. I don’t think airport security would have allowed me through.

IIt was a magical time for me but sadly I have just learned Rob Hall has passed away. Hall was a rock star in his appearance, charisma and talent. I was able to chat with Rob for some time on the set and the following year we did an interview to promote the second season of Terminator. Hall gladly signed my T:SCC poster.

Before T:SCC, Hall was the lead make-up artist of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and over time he worked on Firefly, most of the Paranormal activities and other big horror films. We will miss Rob’s talent but his characters will always be back!
