Weekly News Pump: Netflix Spy Series Updates and Arnold’s Song of the Month!

As I’m writing this article, I’m listing to “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash. Schwarzenegger proclaimed this tune as “song of the month” in his newsletter so I thought I’d give it a listen.  I’m not too familiar with this song but I certainly loved Cash’s “The Man Comes Arnold” played in the fantastic season 1 finale of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. If Arnold enjoys Johnny Cash, we suggest he watch our music video we produced with Conan to the tune of “Hurt.”

Music is a powerful tool to help us all work out and to feel a good pump. Arnold’ is pumping hard to get in top shape for his upcoming Netflix series and there have been a couple new series developments. First, Arnold announced the name and it sounds badass!

“I just got the phone call that Netflix has greenlit FUBAR,” Arnold announced in his monthly newsletter, "so I can’t wait to get to work with Nick Santora, the creator of the show, and Monica Barbaro, who will play my daughter. The whole team at Skydance has been incredible, and the father/daughter spy dynamic is going to be such a wild ride for all of you"

In other FUBAR news, (F.U.B.A.R., as many of you may already know, stands for Fucked-Up Beyond All Recognition), I was listening to this week’s guest, Tom Arnold, on The Howard Stern Show and he said he really wants to be a part of FUBAR. So if you were getting some early "True-Lies” vibes from Arnold’s upcoming Netflix spy action series before, now we may really be in for an even bigger homage to the 1994 film if Tom Arnold joins the cast!
