Top 10 List for Things to Do at Christmas Time for Schwarzenegger Fans!
The best time of the year is finally here! Well, unless you’re on the naughty list and Krampus will be coming to ram his furry fist into your stomach and break your spine! If you’ve been nice, then let’s hope you’ll be getting a Turbo Man toy or collectible POP to unwrap this year. But crazy as it may sound, Christmas isn’t all about Jingle All the Way. Sure, the Arnold film is a glorious highlight, but let me tell you the other great ways to celebrate Christmas time.
Top 10 List for Things to Do at Christmas Time for Schwarzenegger Fans!
10. The Latest Schwarzenegger Newsletter
You’ll learn a lot from the latest Arnold newsletter and after you read it, you’ll certainly feel the Christmas spirit. You’ll see several new Arnold holiday paintings, read great advice, discover Arnold’s “challenge for you” and learn how Arnold (and how YOU TOO) can find ways to help our fellow man. Be sure to subscribe to Arnold’s newsletter HERE if you haven’t already.
Arnold has joined forced with World of Tanks, a fantastic-looking tank adventure video game. What is best about this are the promotional advertisements which comes off as pure Christmas magic! I love the production value of this promotional ad, which plays like a new mini-Schwarzenegger movie.
8. Superhero Kindergarten Holiday Special
Watch the two-part special of Stan Lee’s Superhero Kindergarten. In How the Super Ks Save Christmas Part 1 and Part 2, you’ll see Arnold
narrating a story about Krampus and later he join forces with Santa! This two-part special is a lot of fun and should be watched annually this time of year. Go HERE to watch it NOW!
7. Story Time with Arnold: Krampus Comes to Town!
Perhaps only available on YouTube, this 1980’s holiday special, "Arnold’s Very Special Christmas Party,” once again has Arnold Schwarzenegger talking about the legend of Krampus. Schwarzenegger refers to Krampus as “the Devil” but I’m sure it’s the same Christmas monster. According to Schwarzenegger, the Devil would pay bad kids a visit in Austria!
“The Devil would come in with his chains and mean-looking and read off all the bad things we did,” starts The Oak. “He would say, ‘you got bad grades, you didn't go to school one day, you were bad to your mother’… and he would grab you and want to take you away.”
6. Decorate and Show Your Christmas Spirit
Do you have a Turbo Man nestled safely under the tree? Let’s decorate that Christmas tree some more! I’m sure you have an Arnold holiday ornament or maybe some Arnold collectibles you can place around your tree. Here’s my Arnold tree so let’s see yours! I also have an Arnold on the shelf and Ryan Gillen of TheArnoldfFans decorates a Mr. Freeze standee every year so get creative with your decorations and see what cool and creative things you come up with!
5. Arnold Holliday Arts and Crafts
"One of my favorite traditions is painting my Christmas cards every year. I bring in my friends and my family and tell them they’re going to paint Christmas cards, not buy them this year, and at first, they think I’m nuts. But by the end, everyone has the best time.” – Schwarzenegger
Arnold paints Christmas cards every year so let’s see what hidden talents you have. Make an Arnold Christmas card or Arnold cookies and share so we can tag Schwarzenegger with your art. Check out this Christmas card showing Arnie by the very talented sisters, Sarah & Wendy Gillen.
4. Arnie’s Life Museum Gift Vouchers
Visit the official Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum in Thal, Austria! See the birthplace of our favorite action hero and also pick up some voucher gifts. These vouchers are good for an entry of 1 person into the museum, a card protector and a reusable Terminator drinking bottle! Get a voucher now while supplies last. For more information on Arnold’s museum, click HERE!
3. Arnold Radio News Podcast: The Christmas Edition
Listen to the all new Christmas edition of our podcast. TheArnoldFans staff discusses what’s best in life during the holidays! Don’t miss your host, Ryan Gillen, reading us all a “Twas the Freeze Before Christmas” poem. Then if you like it, be sure to subscribe and keep up with us all year!
2. Turbo Time!
How will Christmas ever be complete without watching the greatest Christmas movie of all time? Then, when that movie is over, let’s put in Jingle All the Way! Ha, joking! Yes, I too love Howard’s crazy adventures and watching Arnold punch a reindeer. But this year we also have the official Jingle All the Way card game by Funko so right after the movie, we can act out the adventure again with the game and little Turbo Man game piece!
1. Give Back!
This is what Christmas is all about: giving back, putting smiles on other people’s faces and feeling great that you have made a change. This year Arnold donated for homeless veterans while I dressed as Turbo Man and gave out toys to the inner-city children of the Hollenbeck Youth Center. TheArnoldFans.com teamed up with Funko and they were thrilled to donate dozens of boxes full of toys and collectibles for this great cause. My son dressed as Booster and Terminator: Dark Fate star, Gabriel Luna, joined the cause as we all handed out toys to some amazing kids!
“All of you have the power to do something for someone else this holiday season. It doesn’t have to be big. Just give a few minutes of your time to help someone else.” – Schwarzenegger
