It's not Doc Savage, but according to Variety Arnold is reportedly in talks with producers of another super hero film: "The Toxic Avenger!" While he would not be portraying the title character "Toxie," he is said to be interested in a starring role. The director/writer is Steve Pink, who directed "Hot Tub Time Machine" and helped write the John Cusak films "Grosse Pointe Blank" and "High Fidelity."
The founder of Arnold Schwarzenegger parody band Austrian Death Machine has been arrested in Southern California in a sting operation for allegedly attempting to arrange the murder of his estranged wife, according to the San Diego County sheriff's department. Tim Lambesis, 32, was arrested Tuesday and has been charged with three federal counts, including solicitation of another to commit murder and two counts of conspiracy to commit crime, as reported by various news outlets.
James Cameron has teased us for years that a True Lies Special Edition Blu-Ray was in the works but ay last it’s been confirmed by Harry Tasker’s daughter, Eliza Dushku. While on Chris Hardwick’s The Nerdist program on BBC America, Dushku blurted out that she’d just finished participating in work on a True Lies commentary for the Blu-ray when asked by the host what she’s been up to.

As we reported on our Facebook page, Lionsgate premiered the first trailer for Arnold and Sly's recently renamed movie "Escape Plan" at the Cinemacon convention in Las Vegas! Summit Entertainment has moved the release date for Escape Plan (formerly The Tomb) to September 13th, two weeks earlier than its original date of 9/27/13. Although we're very happy to have this long-awaited film bumped up, many fans are in an uproar like rioting prisoners over the termination of the original beloved title.
As many of you know, TheArnoldFans has been covering the unfortunate passing of Arnold's mentor and "father figure" Joe Weider over the past few days on Facebook and Twitter. Weider, a leading figure in bodybuilding, who died at the age of 93, brought Schwarzenegger to the US early in his career and helped him achieve the American dream as he became an international movie star.
