In Terminator 2, the T-800’s mission was to protect John Connor and to Terminate the T-1000. That was a great mission and great story in 1991 but the T-800 has a new mission in 2017: to Terminate Hate. Deadline reports that Skydance Entertainment, who currently own the Terminator rights, has decided to extend their relationship with Paramount Pictures for 4 years, and this will allow them to once again re-launch the Terminator franchise.
