Once again, it’s time for Arnold Day, the annual and wildly popular celebration of all things Schwarzenegger. But, this year they are celebrating a milestone - one decade of celebrating Arnold’s birthday with a 14 hour movie marathon, costumes, quotes, beer/food specials, sponsors, t-shirts, and of course - cake.
Although actor Stephen Lang has not starred in a film with Schwarzenegger (yet), we know that this star shines bright within Arnold's universe! Like Arnold, Lang has been directed by James Cameron as an unforgettable bad guy. Lang has also had a lead role in Conan the Barbarian (although not the version we love) and they both share a birthday in July. But the strongest connection Stephen Lang has to Arnold is the fact that he narrated Schwarzenegger's audio book, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story!
In the early 90's, Jeff Dawn, the Academy Award-winning lead make-up artist who transformed Arnold into cyborgs for the first three Terminator films, hired Jonathan Bickart to sculpt two bronze busts. Over many weeks, Jeff worked with Jonathan and a pile of photos to capture the perfect essence of The Oak. The one Jeff gave to Arnold lived in his office for years and could still be there. Yet there is another and Jeff kept the second one for all these years…until now.

OK, cyborgs and cyborgettes- here's the latest news straight from Skynet! A couple of days ago, Arnold posted a photo of himself on Facebook/Twitter wearing a USA soccer shirt in support of the World Cup team. Arnold looks cool as always, but in the background of the photo is part of a huge looking truck of some sort.
On Monday, we tweeted "#Expendables3 comes out in less than 8 weeks and still NO full-length trailer!!??" Well, Lionsgate was listening, because this morning we were treated to an all new trailer! Reactions are quite positive- it does a great job of showing the new Expendables team and bad guys, a taste of the action, and lots of quips and high fives.
At TerrorCon 2014 in Providence RI, Dee Snider of rock band Twister Sister and personality on “Celebrity Apprentice” happily signed photos and copies of his book for fans. He also gladly talked with Amanda of TheArnoldFans about his involvement in Schwarzenegger’s political campaign years ago, along with showing his true fan colors!
HBO’s True Blood will BE BACK for it’s 7th season to premiere on June 22nd. No, we’re not here to announce that Schwarzenegger will be appearing on the show BUT you can expect a couple of his co-stars to return.
