Taran Killam Says “Gunther” Finishes Post in March & Trailer in Spring!

As many of you know, 2017 is going to be a busy movie year for Arnold and his fans. Schwarzenegger has four films this year coming to theaters: Aftermath, T2 in 3D, Journey to China and Why We’re Killing Gunther. Now that we’ve finally been treated to a very nice Aftermath trailer, we can tell you that his action comedy, Why We’re Killing Gunther will have us waiting a little longer to see some footage. The good news is that the film’s director, Taran Killam, tells TheArnoldFans that the film will finish post production next month and a trailer should come this spring!

Killam also spilled a ton of exciting plot info to MTV.

Taran Killam: “The premise is, it’s a world of hit men and we shot it in sort of a mocumentary structure. So this group of up-and-comers, who want to establish themselves in the industry of assassins, hires a documentary crew at gunpoint to film them tracking down this mysterious, infamous and well known hitman who’s kind of monopolizing the industry and they are going to murder him (Gunther) on camera and use that as their calling card…and it very quickly goes badly. It goes downhill for them pretty early on.”

Killam also says he originally approached Bruce Willis for the Gunther role because he figured Arnold would be too impossible to get. Dino Meneghin (MTV’s Teen Wolf) has been hired to score the action comedy.
