TAFs on the Red Carpet with The Last Stand Stars!
On Monday night, January 14th, TheArnoldFans staff was invited to the Los Angeles star-studded premiere of The Last Stand! Myself and the rest of our crew, Brandon Krum and our substitute photographer Viktoriya Dov, were feeling the pump on the carpet. Before we get to our review, which will be online later today, let's first have you stand with us here along the red (actually black) carpet and interview the movie's cast and crew! Squeeze in tight.
Most of the cast from the movie, including a couple of Arnold family members (Christopher and Patrick) and his friends (Ralf Moeller and Dieter) walked the carpet and stopped by to answer our questions (immediately). We spoke with most of the cast but unfortunately missed the opportunity to catch the very beautiful Genesis Rodriguez.
We did however wrangle in the rest including Daniel Henney, Peter Stormare, Jaimie Alexander, Guzman, Noriega, Santoro, Billy Blair and the film's director Kim Jee-Woon (and his translator). We even spoke with Gene Simmons (not sure why he was there). A couple of other we spoke with at the after-party including Knoxville. These interviews shall soon be shared with you, but for now, let's jump right into the film's leading star: Arnold Schwarzenegger!
TheArnoldFans: How is at after three decades, you and Sly have remained the kings of action? Why have no other action heroes taken your crowns?
Schwarzenegger: "Well, I cannot really explain it to be honest with you. I think the people can explain that much better than I can. All I can tell you is...is that i'm HAPPY that we are riding that wave and i'm happy that normally this can be a fad (for some actors) but this has become a permanent thing, and the people really love our kind of action movies. It's the real thing to know that we're very passionate about making these movies and that we put everything behind it – 100 percent of ourselves to do these movies."
Next TheArnoldFans asked our future barbarian king an all new question regarding "The Legend of Conan" and we'll put that great response in an upcoming epic Conan piece we're assembling. We do mean EPIC so stick around!
The Last Stand opens tonight at 10pm in the USA! Get your tickets! Go, NOW! Now enjoy our many photos of the cast and crew! Up next: the review! How many stogie will we give it? Hmmmm.
