The FUBAR Trailer is Here!

As Arnold promised, it's been a week packed with big announcements: his new book, his new app, and now a new full length trailer for his Netflix series, FUBAR!

Arnold introduced it in his daily newsletter by saying:

I have been talking to reporters who have been allowed to see it as part of the marketing campaign, and I’ve been so happy when they tell me that it reminds them of my work in True Lies. When Nick Santora wrote this, we were going for that blend of hardcore action and hilarious comedy, so it is music to my ears.

The trailer is more than 2 minutes packed with LOTS of Arnold and his co-stars like Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, and Fortune Feimster. We get the basic plot set-up, which is indeed True Lies-esque: Arnold's character Luke Brunner is retiring from the CIA, but called back in to help extract a captured operative, who he is shocked to find out is his daughter. After yelling at each other a bit, they team up, and then lots of quips, explosions,  and dead bad guys ensue! The opening scene is extremely reminisent of the scene from True Lies where Arnold is restrained and given the truth serum, telling the bad guys how he's going to kill them. There's also a moment later in the trailer that could be an homage to Commando.

Since the trailer was posted, YouTube comments are overwhelmingly positive, which is no easy feat these days. People are ready to see Arnold back again flexing both his action and comedic muscles!
