In our last report, we told you about the giant 22-foot-tall FUBAR action figure, which is now in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest figure ever made. We have always said Arnold is larger-than-life so this makes complete sense that Schwarzenegger gets this award. TheArnoldFans spoke with CONCRETE CANDY, the company behind the exclusive FUBAR action figure, to uncover top-secret spy details of this ultra-rare figure.
When the figure was first promoted for sale, we weren’t positive the website selling it was legit, a hoax or was it just a fan-made unofficial product?
"Yes, this is real, legit and very limited (only 100 were made),” confirms CONCRETE CANDY. "It was a stipulation set by Guinness in order to achieve the world record for largest action figure. We had to have a tiny one in order to make the big one. The entire process is outlined here."
The FUBAR lead actor and his co-stars were all holding the figure in a recent video, shared by Arnold.
"Netflix sent the figures remotely (to the cast) in order to capture the footage from set,” Says CONCRETE CANDY. "They definitely had fun with them.”
Finally, I asked the company if they would consider releasing more FUBAR Arnold figures later - but to change the design of the figure and the packaging so that they can keep the first 100 exclusive to the fans who were lucky enough to get them.
"These are handmade and limited to 100 only so far,” begins CONCRETE CANDY. "Future plans are still to be determined at this time."
Their response sounds very top-secret. Their sworn-to-silence refusal of information surely makes CONCRETE CANDY a fitting SPY intelligence agency. Order the action figure at fubaractionfigure.com as there are only a couple left and it will surely be one of the rarest Schwarzenegger action figures ever!
