With the worldwide success of FUBAR, we’re excited to hear NETFLIX has renewed the popular series for a second season. TheArnoldFans had the opportunity to speak with the lead cast of FUBAR on the red carpet, which we reported earlier, but now let’s hear from a few of Arnold’s friends from Gold’s Gym. Some of our favorite stars of Gold’s walked the FUBAR red carpet and shared some stories with us about working with Arnold or talking part in his projects.

Joseph Baena, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son and a regular of Gold’s Gym, spoke to us about what’s next for his career. We’ve followed Joseph on his past careers, such as being involved in real estate, however nothing would make us happier to hear if he would become his dad’s successor to action hero icon. Patrick Schwarzenegger appears to be happy with romance films but I always dreampt of the day when one of Arnold’s kids would step forward as the next generation of a bad-ass action hero. When I asked, no, begged Joseph to step into his father’s boots, he gave us the news we needed to hear.

"I’m training my body for it,” Baena reveals to TheArnoldFans. "I’m building this physic that is perfect for these action roles. I would love to do acting roles. I’ve been training to be just a great actor in general; to do my craft: to do the drama, to do the comedy and to do the action. Action would be amazing. I would love to see what films start coming up.”

Best of all, out for the five children, Joseph Baena is the offspring to look most like his father. We are there for you, Joseph. We’re proud of your goals and we can’t wait to hear of your many triumphs in the decades to come.

On the FUBAR red carpet, I also spoke with Brett Azar, who plays younger versions of the Arnold T-800 models, in Terminator: Genysis and Terminator: Dark Fate.

"I struggled so hard to get as big as I could for Genesis,” confesses Azar, "and you can only be bigger if you’re representing the Terminator. There is no too big to be Arnold. When they brought me back to do Dark Fate, I was ripped because I was expecting to be naked again but they put me in full clothing and I was like, 'Ah, what the hell is going on?’ But I got to kill John Connor. I saw Eddie Furlong the other day and I was like, 'Hey Eddie, I shot you in the face!' He was like, 'what are you talking about?’ I told him I was Arnold, the Terminator guy.

The last couple of Terminator films didn’t do well in the box office but should the franchise really be limited only to anime and video games?

"There's always hope for the Terminator," a hopeful Azar tells TheArnoldFans, "but I want to see it returned back to horror. I want people to be afraid of the T-800.”

Arnold himself has said he is finished with Terminator films but we strongly agree with Azar. Terminator sci-fi films with the T-800 as the protector has been done too many times but fans would only become excited if Schwarzenegger was the villain again in a horror style film.

Brett Azar shared with TheArnoldFans what he thought of FUBAR after he watched the entire series.

"With FUBAR, I thought the writing was impeccable and was one of the best projects Arnie has ever been on in terms of the quality of writing and of the storyline,” Azar proudly admits. "Surrounding Arnold with such great comedic actors like Fortune Travis and Milan is what Arnold needed. I just love the wittiness and the great chemistry with the back and forth panter on the show. Monica really held her own too on camera with Arnold. Their back and forth was pretty damn good too. I thought overall FUBAR is a top Arnold project out of his entire filmography. I hope to be brought in for Season two."

Finally, I spoke with Arnold’s gym friends and T-shirt campaign partner, Douglas Farrell. You might have seen Douglas first as an Ewok in Return of the Jedi but we know him best as Arnold’s “Twin” from many of his T-shirt promotions or other projects at Gold’s Gym.

"We do all the push-pulls, the standard machines and stuff like that,” begins Farrell. "then we practice together and then he picks on me."

Even though these two might playfully tease each other, it’s clear to see that Arnold cares for his good, little friend.

"Arnold has always been good to me,” says Farrell "He told me, ‘If you ever need anything, let me know.” Douglas elaborates, "I was doing a movie (Avatar 2) and James Cameron said I was too big so he (Arnold) went and talked to him. Arnold went to talk to James and told him, “Tell Doug, we are not done with him yet.’  "So yeah, he’s always thinking of stuff like that. I was like, 'I’ve always been told I was too small and now I am too big?”

As far as FUBAR season 2, Douglas tells TheArnoldFans he is ready.

"I would love it,” Farrell begins, "ll even be a his stuntman.”
