Happy 35th anniversary to one of the best sci-fi movies of all time, one of the greatest films from the 80s and a film which normally makes it onto every man’s top three Arnold Schwarzenegger films. Released on June 12, 1987, Predator was the film where many of us entered the movie theater as children or teens and exited as MEN! Never has there been a film with more machismo and even though it's been 35 years now, I'm pretty damn sure Schwarzenegger can still kick the Predator's ass! Let us know when and where you first saw Predator and what was your favorite scene or one-liner from this film.
Have you seen the trailer for the all new Predator film coming out in a few weeks? Predator: PREY is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and stars Amber Midthunder as the female Comanche warrior looking to prove her worth to her tribe. I despise a lot of these Arnold film reboots like 2022’s Eraser, Total Recall 2012, Conan 2011 as well as several Predator sequels. Prey, on the other hand, looks promising due to the new original spin and new time period. I’ve grown tired of the same manly team of special ops forces going up against the Predator. It worked for the first film because it was perfection but should not be done in every sequel. Maybe in the next film we can get Predator vs Barbarians…or better yet, Predator vs Austrians!
