Like it or not, America has spoken and our new President elect, Donald Trump, will step into office in the same month that Arnold replaces the Celebrity Apprentice ex-boss. We’ll all be watching NBC on January 2nd when Arnold takes over the Donald’s Apprentice position for the two hour premiere. It’s just too bad Arnold, not born on American soil, can't also become President. However, according to Adweek, Arnold would have been running this year if the U.S. constitution allowed him.

Arnold gave an extensive interview that was conducted in early September 2016 at the Schwarzenegger Institute for State and Global Policy at the University of Southern California in which he continued to provide inspirational quotes and commented on how he still has a desire to be President of the United States of America.

Arnold made it clear that no matter how crazy and out of reach his goals may have appeared to other people, he always strived towards them by utilising a step-by-step vision with a huge goal visible at the end of the tunnel.

“If you don’t know where to go, you don’t end up anywhere. The best airplane in the world, the most sophisticated ship, but if the captain or pilot doesn’t know where to go you are not going to end up anywhere. Vision is the most important thing and this is why I am so honored to receive an award that is the Brand Visionary award.” -Schwarzenegger

Arnold cannot campaign to become the President of the United States of America, because he was born in the Austrian town of Thal, but Arnold still holds a long-standing desire to become President and make America the greatest it can be by re-imagining the American dream in exactly the same way he achieved it from creating opportunity. Arnold’s aspirations to improve America can be seen in everything from the exercise books to help increase children’s health, his After-School All-Stars philanthropy and his “Make America Lift Again” campaigns, to name just a few. Arnold reiterated this desire by declaring, “If I'd been born in America, I would’ve run. Because now? This was a very good time to get in the race.”

Adweek awarded Arnold Schwarzenegger the Brand Visionary Award for his successful career and persistent drive.

"No one has been more successful at achieving new, seemingly unattainable goals than Arnold Schwarzenegger,” says a representative of Adweek.
