Arnold Schwarzenegger’s film with his highest kill count just turned 30 years old! Released on October 4th, 1985, Commando would solidify Arnold as an indestructible A-list action hero. We bared witness to Schwarzenegger's enthronement as the king of the one-liners.

In the near future, we hope Arnold does Commando 2, but for now, we can currently celebrate by rewatching the film or how about purchasing the Commando 30th anniversary Ultimate John Matrix action figure by NECA!

This deluxe 7" scale action figure features the authorized likeness of Arnold Schwarzenegger and over 25 points of articulation. As befits a former special operative, it's loaded with deadly accessories: knife that fits into a sheath, Desert Eagle pistol that fits into a side holster, M60E3 machine gun, Valmet M78/83 machine gun and a massive M202A1 FLASH rocket launcher with removable launching rocket attachment. Packaged in a Deluxe 30th Anniversary window box.

Check out the difference between this NECA Commando figure (on sale now) and the old figures by Diamond Toymakers released in 1985.

Finally, we have a cool treat here for you Commando fans and toy collectors. We recently discovered a super-rare Commando brochure once put out by Diamond Toymakers showing many unproduced toys from the Arnold classic film! Only a third of these items were ever produced and released such as the figures, 16” tall Matrix, Grenade, Watch, Pistol and Combat Vest Set. All others such as the Weapon Playset, Battle Rifle, Uzi Water Pistol, Outfits, Raft, Binoculars and Uzi Dart Gun were all unproduced. Now IF ONLY an ex-employee of Diamond Toymakers would contact us saying they have these prototypes for sale in his/her basement!
