I hope you enjoyed all the Terminator coverage and cast interviews we shared over the last 10 days. In this final convention report, i'll share with you many of the cool toys that were for sale at the Hollywood Show convention, show you the ultimate collectible that I picked up and show reveal the commemorative Terminator poster that I purchased. Yes, this poster, made just for the convention and limited to only 100, was signed by the key players. Unfortunately Arnold did not attend the convention so I'll have to have him sign my poster at a later date.

Next, check out some of the tables of Terminator merchandise at the convention! There were loads of rare and cheap Arnold, T2 and T2-3D items that I picked up making me a giddy MFer.

Best of all, I picked up two VERY RARE items. These endoskeleton heads were some of my "holy grail" items that I've been in search of for years! Both were released at the time of T3 and were promotional items that were only obtainable by winning them. First, an endo head safe. You have to enter the numbers on the back to open it. But best of all, the Endoskeleton DVD player! Mint condition, unused, complete and in the original packaging! Obtaining this DVD player was alone worth the 8-hour trip to Los Angeles! It's one of my top three favorite pieces in my entire collection. Only a small handful of these Endo head DVD players are known to still be in existence.

Finally, we have a report by another fan, Dustin, who I met at the convention. Dustin, now a member of our forums, writes TAFs with his own experience.

Dustin writes:
The experience was awesome. To top it off it was my birthday!
Let me start by sharing some of the highlights of the day. The first cast member I met was Michael Biehn. His girlfriend Jennifer Blanc was very impressed with the painting I did. She turned to Biehn and said "Michael we need a lithograph of this in our house!" Next she asked if I'd like a picture. I told her it was my birthday, she quickly responded "you don't need to pay, you can have a picture". So I took a picture with Michael and as he commenced signing, she pulled me aside and took down my information. So she could contact me about getting a copy of my artwork. I wish I could tell you I'll be meeting them for lunch tomorrow, but sadly I never got any correspondanence......YET. Let's hope she's digging through laundry and comes across my card.
Next I returned to the line, knudging along at a snail's pace toward Patrick, and Hamilton. About an hour in, I'm approached by this woman who asks me what the line was for. I polietly answered and as she walked away I thought, that woman looks very familiar. So eventually I reach Robert Patrick, I'm next, and here come some autograph hounds. They had him sign a stack of T-1000 8x10's. Defeated, I walked up to Hamilton. Out of left field comes the woman I mentioned earlier. Her and Linda embrace, and she shakes hands with Michael. Turns out she looked so familiar to me because she was Bess Motta who played Sarah's roommate Ginger. After that brief reunion I finally got up to Linda. She reached out for my painting. I told her I just wanted to meet her, and that I was totally out of cash. Then I remembered the ole' birthday drop I gave to Biehn. I pulled out my license as if to prove it to her. She said "It's your birthday?! and immediately signed my painting free of charge. I thanked her for her grace, and she grabbed my hand looked me dead in the eye, and said "You have yourself a wonderful birthday". Pretty Intense. One of the coolest birthday gifts I've ever received.

As I was walking out to drive home with a sense of accomplishment. Bess Motta "Ginger" Stopped me to ask about my painting. I told her if I had brought a pen I'd like her to sign it. Genius that I am I didn't bring a pen to an autograph show. Lesson learned. I told her I knew she looked familiar. We got to talking and it turns out she came there with the express intent on saying hi to Linda. Very nice woman, as I walked away she turned around and said "Next time you better paint me" In that playful manner her character conveyed in the film.
Kidding, I know this is running long so I figure I'll tie it up. The day was awesome. I met some cool people and gathered some great memories. Next time I'll remember a pen, and forgo rent. It wont always be my birthday.
