Here's a news story that I actually wrote over a couple of months but I didn't have permission to post this ILM FX T-shirt image until now. On Friday, April 10th, I got to go on a nice long tour inside Industrial Light and Magic and was able to visit the Lucas Ranch. Thanks to the Gillinator knowing some connections in ILM at the Presidio, I was shown some rather sweet Star Wars props as well as a few ILM Terminator treasures. Upon entering the George Lucas Theater, the Terminator Salvation trailer was shown for us. Later we passed the ILM doors of Charlie Gibson, who was fine-tuning the young Arnold CG likeness.

Later, after a bite to eat and after we passed the coffee shop, Javva the Hutt, I was shown the official Terminator Salvation T-shirts made special for the ILM crew. There were two different designs, one was a Moto-terminator and says Skynet Racing. Back side says Project Angel.

The other one, a big tribute to the "Iron Maiden" Killers album. Being a huge Maiden fan myself, I instantly recognized the Arnie Endoskeleton striking an Eddie pose. On the back are tour dates that are "Terminated" and the image here is a endo fist giving the devil horns sign!

A black hat was also available, showing an endo skull with Angel wings behind it. Back says: Terminator Salvation: ILM VFX Crew 09. The two shirts on display were prototypes. Below those shirts and the hat were "project Angel Crew Gear" order forms for these ILM workers to purchase the items.

At last this badass ILM FX Crew shirt is in my hands and you better believe that I'll be wearing my Endo Maiden shirt proudly at this year's Comic Con.

Happy belated birthday to TAFs forum member SandwichJohn!
