www.Collider.com spoke with Predator producer John Davis a couple of days ago at a press junket for his upcoming Universal movie “The Express.” During this time, Davis gave up some juicy news that Arnold himself has spoken with this producer and wants to team up with him again in an upcoming movie or two! From what TAFs hears, Arnold will certainly NOT run for senate so prepare yourself for Arnold's big movie return in a couple more years! Will his comeback film be Predator 3? We still hope for King Conan, however, a long overdue rematch with one of Stan WInston's classic sci-fi aliens is not a bad choice either.

www.collider.com reports:

You were also involved with AVP and AVPR, which are two great franchises, but they haven’t been able to work as a joint franchise. When are we going to see them go separate? Or are we going to see a third AVP?

John Davis: Well, the Governor has mentioned to me that when he ceases to be Governor, if he doesn’t run for the Senate and all of that stuff, he’d like to do a movie or two again. And I don’t know, maybe we could restart the Predator franchise.

So if Arnold wanted to do it, it’s going to get made?

John Davis: Well we’d have to come up with a really good script and a really great angle on it, but Predator was the first movie I was ever involved with, so it’s always going to have a really soft spot in my heart.

So is the AVP franchise on hold for now?

John Davis: I think we’ve logically done what we could’ve done with the two AVP movies. But I think there’s something to go back to with Predator .

How do you see the character that Arnold plays to that franchise?

John Davis: I don’t know yet. But I think Predator is a great character and a great monster.

In other news, TheArnoldFans attended this year's California State Fair and saw quite a few Arnold-related activities and "all these things". We first caught up with our friend Tony Nowak, maker of T3 leather jackets, good friend of the Governor's, and the man who refers to TAFs own The Gillinator as "The Masturbater." We normally see Tony at The Arnold Classic, but as a surprise to us, he had a booth at The State Fair. Here he was auctioning off a T3 jacket and a custom Arnold jacket with several film logos attached. TAFs chatted with Tony on the phone roughly two weeks earlier so it was good to continue our conversation in person.

Other mentionable State Fair things was the California Museum display where a cardboard Arnold would present a medal around your neck, a Hollywood theme with the horses... and one of them was made up to be a Terminator and a Hamlet Jack Slater costume on display!
